A new community-led research effort is underway to better understand the needs of LGBTQ+ individuals in Ohio’s eastern counties. Andrew Snyder, a research fellow at the Center for Community Solutions and Ph.D. candidate at Kent State University, is leading the Greater Mahoning Valley LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment. Participants can enter raffles or receive gift cards as thanks for sharing their experiences. The project will also be present at the Ashtabula Pride Festival on June 21.
